"Honestly didn’t feel that safe"
I actually ended up leaving early because I just didn’t feel very safe there. Ski patrol seemed slow to respond when people were down, and they didn’t come across as all that helpful. Some of the signs were confusing in certain spots too, which didn’t help.

I tried to cancel and, from what I remember, the refund rules felt way more complicated than they needed to be. It seemed like every step made it harder to actually get things sorted out. i wouldn’t want to deal with that again.

I don’t remember much else standing out, but the lift was the one thing I really noticed. I felt like I was waiting around forever, and it got frustrating.

I ordered from alta.com for a dinner thing, it ended up being disappointing. The menu made everything sound great, but the food arrived lukewarm and one of the items was missing, which was annoying enough on its own.
The taste was just okay, definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I also wasn’t thrilled with how unclear the communication was about the missing item and what they were actually going to do about it. Support did eventually reply, but it took a while and didn’t really solve much. Maybe others have better luck, but I probably won’t order from them again.

"Not the best day for advanced runs"
I went with a couple of friends I usually ski with, and we were disappointed with the advanced terrain. The runs were icy, way too crowded, and didn’t feel worth the effort. Maybe it was just the day we went, but it wasn’t the kind of experience I’d come back for if I’m looking for more challenging skiing...

"I don’t know, the whole place just..."
I don’t know, the whole place just felt kind of gross to me. The floors looked really nasty, the bathrooms had a bad smell, and there was trash just sitting around like nobody was dealing with it. It didn’t feel clean at all, so yeah, I don’t think I’ll be going back.

"Booking page was such a Headache"
I tried to book twice, and both times the page just froze when I got to payment. no clear error or anything, just sat there wasting my time. Eventually I gave up and booked Somewhere else.

"Ticket price just didn’t feel worth it"
I feel like I paid way too much for the ticket, and by the end I was just kind of wondering where the value was. The extra fees weren’t really clear until checkout, which left a bad taste… For the amount I spent, I expected the whole thing to be a lot smoother. Not sure I’d use alta.com again, honestly.

"Parking was such a headache"
I tried using alta.com, but the parking part made the whole thing frustrating. I couldn’t find a spot, the directions weren’t very clear, and it just felt like they didn’t really plan for a busy day. After dealing with all that, it didn’t feel worth it.

"I was hoping for a solid ski day..."
I was hoping for a solid ski day, but my instinct told me it was going to be a madhouse as soon as I pulled in, and I should’ve trusted it. Parking was a mess, the lift lines were long everywhere, and even the runs felt crowded all day. It was hard to relax or get into any kind of rhythm. For what it costs, it just didn’t feel worth it. I left frustrated and probably won’t come back on a busy day again.

"Renting from alta.com was a total hassle"
I rented equipment from alta.com the whole thing was kind of a joke. Pickup took way too long, and the machine started having issues almost right away. Support wasn’t much help either — I had to keep chasing them like they couldn’t be bothered to do their job. Disappointing experience, and I definitely wouldn’t rent from them again.

"Pretty hard to get there without a car!!"
Trying to figure out how to get there from the website was such a headache!!! The transport info just wasn’t clear, and I couldn’t really make sense of the bus or shuttle options at all?? If you’re not driving, it feels like way more hassle than it should be. I ended up going in circles for ages and finally just gave up...

"I went in thinking we were..."
I went in thinking we were about to have one of those perfect snow days, but wow, reality had other plans. The snow was crusty and icy for most of the day, with scraped-off patches everywhere and barely any soft stuff no matter where we tried to go.
I get that weather is unpredictable, but the reports made it sound so much better than what we actually found. For what the trip cost, it felt like we’d geared up for an epic day and ended up in a frozen disappointment.

I was trying to plan a trip with a few friends and got annoyed when we realized Alta still has the ski-only policy. One of our group snowboards, so right away it felt like we were basically begging the resort to include everyone, which left a bad taste.
I get that every mountain has its own rules, but in 2026 this just feels outdated. It made the whole planning process more frustrating than it needed to be, and I ended up feeling kind of resentful that we even had to work around something like that.
There are plenty of other places that welcome both skiers and snowboarders, so we booked somewhere else. I don’t really see myself using alta.com again unless that policy changes.

We brought the kids hoping it would be a fun outing, but they got bored quickly. The staff did help a little, but it sorta felt like we were mostly on our own...

"Ski school just didn’t feel worth it"
We booked a lesson through alta and, I don’t know, I left feeling disappointed. The group seemed a bit too big, and the instructor was kind of moving everyone along so fast that my kid didn’t really get much individual help. It felt less like an actual lesson and more like they were just following the group around the mountain. For what it cost, I really expected more. I don’t think I’d book ski school here again.

"Pretty rough stay and not much help"
I booked a place through alta.com and it was kind of a mess from the start. The room looked maybe half as nice as the photos, had this weird smell, and check-in took what felt like an hour or so. I reached out for help, but support mostly sent the same generic replies over and over. I probably wouldn’t use them again.

"Decent snow, just felt a little repetitive"
The snow was good, so I can’t really complain too much. But after a while, especially after lunch, the runs started to feel kind of the same to me. Maybe there’s more variety if you know the mountain better, but from what I saw, it was just okay.
